Executive Team

Elycia Morris

Chief Executive Officer

Elycia has enjoyed a diverse and successful education and career path. Graduating from the US Air Force Academy, Elycia went on to be a communications and network officer leading large teams while working at the pentagon for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and at Andrews Air Force Base as the Air Force ONE communications officer during President George W. Bush’s tenure.

While working at General Electric, she was trained in operational efficiencies at scale obtaining her Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma and is a certified Master Change Agent. After GE, she was recruited to lead Apple Inc.’s go-to-market strategy for their Enterprise Health vertical, where she led a team that worked on sales and marketing strategy, and B-to-B solutions for the Apple Watch, iPad and Mac. From there she became an advisor and investor to start-ups.

Elycia received her undergraduate degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and her MBA from George Washington University.

Brad Levine

Executive Chairman

Brad has had a successful 25+ year career building software technology companies specializing in compliance management, with his previous four ventures all resulting in successful exits. Over his career, he has created more than $180 million of value for his shareholders.

Prior to his most recent venture, Tellus, a healthcare technology company focused on home healthcare, Brad built Blue Frog Solutions into the largest life & annuity insurance processor in the U.S. before exiting to a private equity fund. Before Blue Frog Solutions, Brad built the Internet
Broadcasting Company, a provider of mutual fund trading systems. IBC was sold to INSCI, a publicly traded firm based in Boston.

Brad is also civically involved. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Florida Atlantic University and served as the Chairman for two years. Brad also served on the State of Florida’s Technology Blockchain Task Force and is a director at Property Environmental Research Center, a not-for-profit focused on free market solutions to environmental issues.

Brad received his undergraduate degree in agricultural economics from the University of Florida and his MBA from Schiller University in Heidelberg, Germany.

Chris Pernicano

Chief Technology Officer

Chris Pernicano has spent his career founding businesses, primarily the FinTech and HealthTech spaces.

Chris’ focus throughout his career has been in information technology, with a focus on Business-to Business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service solutions that feature complex processing and many integration touch points with other
systems. From a career in startups, Chris has gained exposure to all aspects of business operation.

In addition to his work with Synergist Technologies, Chris currently serves as Chairman of the North Broward Hospital District Commission, with oversight responsibilities for Broward Health, one of the ten largest public health care systems in the United States.

Chris received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, his masters in environmental engineering, and his MBA from the University of Florida.

Chris Dougherty

Chief Financial Officer

Chris prides himself on being a problem solver with a penchant for digesting and understanding information quickly. Coming from an investment banking background, Chris helped advise both early-stage and mature healthcare technology and tech-enabled companies on nearly $1 billion of M&A and capital raise transactions at Bailey & Co., a Nashville-based boutique investment bank.

Most recently, he was the Manager of Strategic Finance at Honest Medical Group, a value-based care startup focused on holistically managing Medicare beneficiaries in partnership with providers. In this role, he was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and capital markets activities.

Chris received his undergraduate degree in economics from Ohio State University and his MBA from Vanderbilt University.
